We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist, Fraud Detection/Surveillance Representative - Check Review Operator to join our Fraud Hub team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
- 0-5 years of experience.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, essential for identifying and assessing potential fraud risks.
- Excellent communication skills for effectively collaborating with team members and presenting findings.
- Proficiency in using fraud detection software and data analysis tools to enhance surveillance efforts.
Nice To Haves
- Relevant certifications in fraud detection or financial crime prevention are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Identify suspicious signatures and red flags on checks that may indicate fraudulent activity.
- Conduct comprehensive check reviews for both Signature and Antinori, encompassing operator, supervisor and quality control assessments, as well as releasing files to clients.
- Collaborate with an offshore team and respond to requests for assistance or information as needed.
- Review client decisions.
- File incident reports with supporting documentation when appropriate.
- Maintain various logs to support day-to-day operations.
- Print, crop and quality control signature cards.
- Print and review various reports to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of daily work.
- Process and complete both internal and external requests.
- Effectively manage individual cases within the work queue.
- Handle domestic collections.
