About The Position

Provide expertise, service, and support in elementary English Language Arts (ELA) Intervention with a focus on instructional planning, instructional delivery, and measuring and analyzing student outcomes. Work closely with classroom teachers and school-based teacher leaders to effectively implement instruction aligned with curricular materials and the Maryland College and Career Standards. Collaborate with administrators and instructional leadership teams to identify scheduling opportunities for additional instructional support, monitor and evaluate formative and summative data, and make instructional recommendations. Facilitate ongoing, job-embedded professional learning and in-classroom coaching on the use of evidence-based instructional practices and responsive instruction. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Expertise in elementary English Language Arts (ELA) Intervention
  • Focus on instructional planning, instructional delivery, and measuring and analyzing student outcomes
  • Ability to work closely with classroom teachers and school-based teacher leaders
  • Knowledge of curricular materials and Maryland College and Career Standards
