About The Position

The P&W Earned Value Analysis and Reporting organization is looking for a self-motivated and disciplined individual to join its team as a Program Analyst. This position provides the candidate with a unique opportunity to work together with the Program Management Office and Engineering customers. While in this role, the ideal candidate will provide guidance and analysis in the areas of Project Management, Budgeting, Scheduling, and Variance Analysis used in the execution of the Military Engines Programs. The candidate will become an integral part of the Next Generation Adaptive Program (NGAP) program management team, providing leadership, guidance and communication between CIPT/IPT budget owners and the Core Program and Finance teams including in support of Monthly Program Reviews, Program Risk Reviews and the preparation of internal and government required performance reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5+ years of experience or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience to include high proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical and trending skills, demonstrated written and oral communication skills and strong analytical problem-solving skills, with ability to focus on results to drive tasks to completion.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • Earned Value experience/exposure with knowledge of specific program management tools (i.e. SAP, Primavera, WebEVM and Empower).
  • General understanding of and openness to continuous improvement principles.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness working across functions, organizations, and various levels of management.
  • Comfortable executing under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support proper implementation of EVMS and project management tools and processes through coordination with and guidance to the program team as they develop, plan, and analyze tasks.
  • Provide project management guidance to program team to ensure adherence to Earned Value Management System (EVMS) guidelines.
  • Compile compliant monthly Integrated Program Management Data Analysis Report (IPMDAR) approved by the Program Manager and provide to the external customer.
  • Facilitate monthly data reconciliation and compile compliant Earned Value or project plan data approved by the program manager and provide to the external customer.
  • Actively support monthly program Estimate-at-Complete reviews and Monthly/Quarterly Program Review preparation activities.
  • Support on-going compliance reviews and periodic process audits (e.g. DCAA, DCMA and Joint Surveillance Review).
  • Strict attention to detail and internal and external customer satisfaction focus is required to ensure the team meets aggressive demands of military compliance programs.
