About The Position

L3Harris Majors Field is seeking a cybersecurity training, policy, and compliance specialist to design, implement, and manage its cybersecurity education and governance program. The role contributes to training, awareness, and assessment activities, aligning written policies, delivered training, and field implementation. It involves translating technical concepts into engaging, actionable training for employees across departments; evaluating policies and procedures for alignment with regulations and operations; and assessing and reviewing information systems in several environments to reduce organizational risk. The position is based onsite in Greenville, Texas, on a 9/80 first-shift schedule, with every other Friday off. A valid and current U.S. Secret security clearance is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4 years of experience, or a graduate degree in a related field and 2 years of experience; in lieu of a degree, at least 8 years of experience.
• Proven experience writing security policies and supporting compliance audits.
• Solid understanding of major compliance frameworks such as NIST, JSIG, DAAG, and NISPOM.
• Proven experience in successful training programs.
• Valid and current U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Level I IAM certification, such as Security Plus.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with eMASS.
• Ability to build security metrics dashboards using tools such as Power BI or Excel to report trends and status.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, execute, and continuously improve a cybersecurity awareness training curriculum in accordance with DAAG, NIST 800-53, and other applicable frameworks.
• Collaboratively draft, review, and update cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines to align with current threat landscapes, business objectives, and government regulations.
• Gather evidence, prepare documentation, and map training and policy metrics to support internal and external security audits and compliance assessments.
• Monitor, track, and report training completion rates to ensure compliance with applicable industry frameworks.
