About The Position
Join our dynamic Sales Support Department as a Customer & Sales Support Specialist. In this role, you'll assist the Business Development (outside sales) team by performing clerical tasks with precision in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities include data entry, basic bookkeeping, creating quotes and orders, collaborating with vendors and internal departments, and providing top-notch customer service. Your focus will contribute to profitable revenue growth and effective customer relationship management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED and, or equivalent military or practical experience.
- 1 – 2 years of customer service experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet changing needs.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
Nice To Haves
- Ideal candidate may have experience in bookkeeping.
- Experience in hospitality or food service with knowledge of supplies.
- Prior work experience in sales, call center, or telephone support.
- Experience in a distribution environment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing invoices for interdivisional orders and customers
- Research and process credit and returns for the territory.
- Coordinate with manufacture, warehouse, and sales to ensure returns are processed smoothly and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with sales to distinguish TriMark USA quotes and services.
- Intermittent support for our Ecommerce and Storefront platform as well as our Service and Rental Team
- Assist in all aspects of the sales process, including research, proposal requests, data entry and returns
- Manage Safeware reporting in all systems and collaborate with main point of contact at our Safeware partners
- Field telephone calls for customers and traveling team members
- Assist with any other sales support or sales operations tasks as needed
- Collaboration with manufacturers and customers regarding warranty requests
- Serve as the point of contact with the sales team for: Returns Desk, Safeware Desk, Warranty Desk and Interdivisional Desk
- Assist in training new Sales Coordinators and Business Development Managers.
