About The Position

Vickers and Nolan Enterprises (VNE) is an engineering company that provides Government projects and programs with experienced and dedicated system architects, engineers, subject matter experts (in tactical intelligence), and program managers. VNE also develops training courses and tools to prepare warfighters to effectively employ tactical intelligence systems and provide management guidance to the Government organizations that develop these systems. The scope of work covers systems engineering, technical, and management support services for the government and its associated acquisition, technology, logistics, and program management offices. Support is provided to multiple stakeholders responsible for the development, integration, and sustainment of specialized operational capabilities. The scope of support includes program management, engineering analysis and design, configuration management, testing, quality control, sustainment, cybersecurity, training, and field service representative (FSR) support for a static collection capability that functions as a subsystem within a larger integrated system. This is in support of the development, production, and sustainment of specialized intelligence capabilities. Configuration management and associated systems engineering activities are conducted through a collaborative effort among multiple government and partner organizations to ensure interoperability, performance, and lifecycle support.

Requirements

TS/SCI Cleared Configuration Management II
Bachelor's level degree in any field.
Seven (7) years of professional experience with: Responsibility for configuration management issues associated with maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management
Working closely with the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout the entire life cycle
Providing change management and product configuration management guidance
TS/SCI level Clearance required.

Responsibilities

Responsibility for configuration management issues associated with maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management
Working closely with the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout the entire life cycle
Providing change management and product configuration management guidance
Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face
