About The Position

The Specialist, Community Partnerships and Engagement will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, businesses, and other stakeholders. This role will focus on identifying opportunities for collaboration, securing resources, and promoting the school's programs and initiatives. The Specialist will also play a key role in engaging families and the wider community to support student success and school improvement efforts.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Public Relations, Education, Social Work).
Proven experience in community outreach, partnership development, or a related field.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse groups.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Knowledge of the local community and its resources.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in a related field.
Experience working in an educational setting.
Bilingual in Spanish.
Grant writing experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive community engagement plan.
Identify, cultivate, and manage partnerships with external organizations.
Organize and facilitate community events, workshops, and outreach activities.
Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including parents, community leaders, and business representatives.
Track and report on the progress and impact of partnership initiatives.
Collaborate with school staff to align community engagement efforts with school goals.
Seek and secure funding and in-kind resources to support partnership programs.
Represent the school at community meetings and events.
