About The Position

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist, Client Service II to join our Wealth Management team. In this role, you’ll make an impact by working with external clients to resolve moderately complex day-to-day issues and direct them to appropriate resources at BNY. You will support clients in addressing moderately complex operational and technical issues and ensure requests are executed accurately and on time. You will apply intermediate problem-solving skills, experience, and judgment to analyze information and resolve non-routine issues. Use strong communication skills to deliver high-quality service to a specialized client base and provide information on BNY products and services across multiple lines of business and geographies. Monitor client inquiries, escalate complex issues to the appropriate team member, and contribute to business development efforts through a strong understanding of client needs. Participate in internal initiatives to improve the client experience, recommend process improvements, and provide guidance to less experienced team members. Support multiple, moderately complex client accounts and, where applicable, provide people leadership in certain geographies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of client service processes, issue resolution, and operational support.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate across teams, and manage multiple client requests effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Experience in an operational area and/or client services preferred.
