About The Position

The Specialist, Business Data supports the Manager, Supply Chain Technology and network partners receipts performance and identifies opportunities through detailed analysis. Conducts analyses to uncover gaps, errors, correction needs, and process improvements that benefit members and Supply Chain Operations stakeholders. Supports the technology organization’s vision by strengthening quality assurance and user acceptance testing (QA/UAT) validations within the NetSuite and MealConnect Change Management process. This is a hybrid position based out of Feeding America’s Chicago office location. At Feeding America, we believe in offering a flexible work environment. Employees can be in the office an average of 2 days a week (when not travelling for work) and work from home on other days. Employees also have access to a 30-day “work anywhere” program during the course of each calendar year that can be combined with PTO and/or holidays.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in working with large datasets and producing reports for different audiences.
  • Understand business processes as they impact and/or intersect with the enterprise ERP to effectively perform UAT.
  • Experience in performing User Acceptance Testing.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments, deadlines, and high-volume, meticulous work within a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Expert in MS Excel including pivot tables, formula creation, and charts.
  • Proficiency in data visualization – create comprehensive reports to validate work, identify error submissions and gaps.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in inventory management systems a plus.
  • Prior experience with NetSuite, Tableau, and PowerBI a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supports Supply Chain Technology build out for user acceptance testing; enterprise resource planning (ERP) system (NetSuite) and related food sourcing systems (MealConnect), mapping sessions and developing process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed.
  • Assists technology organizational vision to optimize quality assurance and user acceptance testing (QA/UAT) validations as part of NetSuite Change Management process. Builds test scenarios, determines accuracy data mapping and integration during UAT sessions, validates results and identify users needs/gaps in user experience testing capturing improvements to be incorporated in system buildouts.
  • Supports network food banks by resolving errors, implementing corrections, analyzing receipt imports as well as receipts monthly progress, and identifying clear solutions for network food bank receipt discrepancies.
  • Collaborates directly with network food banks to troubleshoot submission of receipts level issues and provides instructions on remediation support to food banks.
  • Develops and manages communications on network food banks monthly receipts performance (including warehouse level reporting, key exceptions, areas for intervention, etc.).
  • Supports the continued development and refinement of Supply Chain receipts strategy and key metrics in partnership with Feeding America’s IT Data Analytics team.
  • Generates quarterly updates for Supply Chain audiences (both internal and external) on data quality performance. Collaborates with others (both internal and external) to identify and improve data outcomes.
  • Supports systems warehouse corrections and synthesis of information to form conclusions and drive corrective processes.
