About The Position
Responsible for transferring materials from/to bulk trucks. This role requires meticulous attention to detail in following instructions, ensuring safety and quality, and maintaining equipment.
Requirements
- Ability to operate a standup forklift
- Ability operate a RF scan gun
- Ability to focus and stay on task
- Basic math skills
- Capability to lift 50 lbs. throughout the shift
- Adaptability to change
- Willingness to wear safety equipment, including safety glasses, steel toe boots, respirator, and dust mask.
- Ability to pass the respirator fit test
Responsibilities
- Read and meticulously follow instructions provided on the bulk transfer sheet.
- Log lot numbers accurately to maintain traceability.
- Identify the correct materials required for transfer.
- Retrieve the necessary items and prepare the transfer area.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure safety, integrity, and product quality.
- Promptly recognize and report any safety issues related to products or equipment.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Foster good work habits and consistently follow established processes.
- Keep transfer equipment operational by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and requesting repairs when needed.
- Be a team player with strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Exhibit punctuality and regular attendance as per company policy.
