About The Position

The Accounting Specialist II (Accounts Payable) role supports our finance team and is responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely payments.

Requirements

High school diploma required
Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience in accounts payable or similar role.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and large ERP software packages, Oracle preferred.
Detail oriented.
U.S. Citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Review and process invoices for accuracy and proper approvals.
Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts.
Prepare and execute check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies.
Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records.
Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues.
Assist with month-end closing and provide support for audits.
