Specialist, Account Data Management & Governance

Neuberger BermanNew York, NY

About The Position

Neuberger’s focus on Enterprise Data Governance is rooted in its commitment to enabling smart, data-driven decisions that uphold the firm’s core principles. Effective governance ensures data is high quality, well-understood, and readily available to support informed decision-making across the organization. This role owns account data quality, controls, and process discipline across the account lifecycle — onboarding, fund launches, transitions, terminations, exception monitoring/resolution, and technology implementation. This is a hands-on role requiring day-to-day data maintenance work, including researching and resolving data exceptions and breaks across systems (e.g., trading platforms, Data Warehouses, Visualization Systems, and Golden Sources), and working directly with data owners to align fields and definitions across systems. The role has a growth path toward broader ownership of account lifecycle processes and offshore workflow oversight as the function matures over 1–3 years.
