About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer to join their team. This role requires an individual who can read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc. The site location covers DC, MD, and VA, and the role is an unarmed floater position. The schedule varies based on site needs, with a preference for candidates with open availability for mornings, evenings, and overnights. Weekends and holidays are required. Full-time hours cannot be guaranteed, and the ideal candidate will be flexible enough to work at multiple sites and be able to receive sponsorships for various state security licenses. Requirements

Be authorized to work in the U.S.
Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
You have a state license if required
You are flexible to work at various sites in DC, MD, and VA. Plus obtain the necessary security licenses for the state you will be working
You must have open availability
You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
