About The Position

This role is within the Office of the President (OOTP) at Ambience, a small, high-trust team focused on strategic frontiers like partnerships, ecosystem navigation, adjacent markets, and thought leadership. The OOTP acts as a problem-solving nucleus to help the President shape the company's future and drive decisive action. The healthcare AI landscape is evolving rapidly, and this team's mandate is to build the right learning networks and ecosystems to ensure timely and accurate information for good decision-making. The role involves analytical, financial, and strategic work supporting Ambience's key external partnerships and market expansion decisions, operating at a fast pace with compressed timelines and high-stakes deliverables.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of professional experience in roles requiring analytical rigor and business judgment (e.g., investment banking, private equity, management consulting, strategic finance, corporate development, or operating roles with analysis-to-action experience).
  • Strong financial modeling skills, including building models from scratch (revenue projections, unit economics, deal scenarios, sensitivity analysis) and iterating live.
  • Clear, structured written communication skills for memos, pre-briefs, and partnership decks.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and speed, including scoping ambiguous questions, identifying necessary data, delivering useful answers quickly, and flagging uncertainties.
  • Experience using AI in a way that builds compounding systems that get smarter over time.

Nice To Haves

  • Foundation models / hyperscalers expertise (understanding competitive dynamics, partnership structures, go-to-market strategies of AI infrastructure providers).
  • Health systems expertise (understanding how large health systems buy, implement, and adopt technology; navigating stakeholders).
  • Familiarity with adjacent healthcare markets like revenue cycle management, payers, or life sciences (players, economics, technology ecosystems).

Responsibilities

  • Build partnership strategy and storytelling, including defining combined offerings, identifying value creation for both sides, and analyzing revenue and margin impact.
  • Develop financial models for deal structuring, including pricing scenarios, margin analysis, revenue projections, and sensitivity tables, often in real-time during negotiations.
  • Conduct new market and competitive intelligence research, including sizing opportunities, analyzing competitors' positioning and future direction, and informing strategic pursuit decisions.
  • Perform ad hoc strategic analysis on diverse high-stakes issues, such as evaluating acquisition targets, preparing board meeting memos, or sizing the economics of new product categories.
