Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to remain focused on tasks throughout scheduled hours
Must be a self-motivated and dependable worker
2-3 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of manufacturing techniques in metal fabricating, welding, or machining
Working knowledge using thermal spray equipment preferably plasma, HVOF, and flame spray
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
Manual dexterity
Interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and participate with team members
Good written and oral communication skills

Ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions

Responsibilities

Performs major setups and operates various machines that essentially remove metal by the process of electrolysis. The employee may operate one or more machines as production and the task warrant.
The operator will be required to monitor various mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical gages and periodically record observations made.
Various operating parameters, such as speeds, feeds, pressures voltages, temperature etc. are established by authorized engineering personnel.
Must be able to follow process sheets.
Must be able to make minor adjustments and repairs and be responsible for good housekeeping.
Must keep good records with regards to routers, run sheets and data recording.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Must follow all safety and health policies including use of all required PPE required for this position.
