Special Procedures Technologist

About The Position
The Special Procedures Technologist performs interventional radiology procedures and assists the physician. Candidates must have interventional radiology or EVOR experience and Cerner experience. The role requires at least two years of recent experience in the specialty. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., plus call. The position also requires working two of the three major holidays—Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day—and one minor holiday: the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist.
- One to two years of experience in diagnostic radiology, as stated in the posting.
- At least two years of recent experience within the specialty.
- Interventional radiology or EVOR experience.
- BLS certification.
- Cerner experience.
Nice To Haves
- Training or experience in general vascular or coronary angiography and special procedures.
- Prior experience in catheterization.
Responsibilities
