About The Position

The Associate IR Special Procedures Technologist performs advanced imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy and interventional radiology, assisting in diagnosing and treating patients. Responsibilities include operating specialized equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and providing critical support during complex medical procedures. This role also requires a strong commitment to patient care and collaborative communication with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
  • State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
  • ARRT (R); Basic Life Support (BLS)

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of RCIS training certification.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience (for IR Special Procedure Technologist level).
  • 2+ years of relevant experience (for Advanced IR Special Procedure Technologist level).
  • 3+ years of relevant experience (for Senior IR Special Procedure Technologist level).
  • ARRT (R) with 1 Advanced registry (CI, or VI) OR RCIS OR ARRT (R) with 5 years of relevant experience (for Advanced and Senior IR Special Procedure Technologist levels).
