Work hours: Full Time, Days working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 10 hour shifts (7am-5:30pm). Department highlights: State-of-the-art Cath Lab and Interventional Services. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology Required Or Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular technology Required
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire Required
  • General Medical Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire Required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree in Applied Science Preferred
  • 1 Year Experience as a radiologic technologist Preferred
  • 1 Year Experience as a cardiovascular invasive specialist Highly Preferred
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Obtain within 6 months if graduate from a Cardiovascular Accredited Program 6 Months Required
  • Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist If Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Only Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities

  • Patient Care such as preparing room for examination (i.e. suction, oxygen, supplies)
  • Imaging Procedures, Quality and Processing- Positions patient to correct anatomical area of interest and assists physician with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance
  • Delivery of high quality of patient care through nursing education, nursing research and innovations in nursing practice.
