We're seeking a compassionate, adaptable Special Populations Support Specialist to support students Pre-K through 8th grade with diverse learning, behavioral, communication, and mobility needs. In this role, you'll partner with special education teachers, classroom teachers, therapists, and school leaders to help students access instruction, build independence, and participate fully in the school day. While you won't serve as the teacher of record or case manager, you'll play an essential role in implementing students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ensuring they receive the individualized support they need to succeed. This position serves multiple schools throughout the district, providing support wherever student needs are greatest. If you enjoy variety, collaboration, and meaningful work, you'll have the opportunity to make an impact every day. You'll work with students across Pre-K through 8th grade in inclusive classrooms, resource settings, and specialized learning environments. Students have a wide range of educational, developmental, behavioral, communication, and mobility needs. Every assignment is unique, giving you the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while supporting students at different ages and stages of development.
