Requirements
- Empathetic and attentive caregiver with a passion for supporting children, teenagers, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs) in their homes.
- Embody Team 24’s Care & Compete Principles: We Care, Performance Matters, Improve Always, Own it with Courage, & Win Together!
- Great communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Two references – at least one reference must be able to confirm disability-related experience
- Proof of negative TB Results – test accommodations or waivers may be available!
- Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid Certification(s) – reimbursement available!
Nice To Haves
- Ability to travel to different cities (highly desired)
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home care to children, teenagers, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs).
- Follow individualized client care plans.
- Provide periodic progress updates to the care team.
- Services may include: personal care (bathing/showering & toileting assistance), meal preparation, companionship, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
- Services provided are non-medical.
