Special Needs Caregiver (ACRC/NBRC)

In this role, you will provide in-home care to children, teenagers, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs). You will follow individualized client care plans and provide periodic progress updates to the care team. Services provided are non-medical.
Requirements
- Empathetic and attentive caregiver with a passion for supporting children, teenagers, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs) in their homes.

- Great communication skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Two references – at least one reference must be able to confirm disability-related experience.
- Proof of a negative TB test is required in accordance with Regional Center regulations (requirements may vary by location).
- Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid Certification(s).
Nice To Haves
- Ability to travel to different cities (highly desired).
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home care to children, teenagers, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs).
- Follow individualized client care plans.
- Provide periodic progress updates to the care team.
- Personal care (bathing/showering & toileting assistance).
- Meal preparation.
- Companionship.
- Medication reminders.
- Light housekeeping.
