Join Lutheran Services Carolinas and help children find safe, loving, and permanent families through adoption. This is a Full-Time Remote Position with a starting salary of $48,000 annually. Requirements
- Experience in social work, child welfare, foster care, adoption services, or case management preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while exercising sound professional judgment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct adoption home studies (Pre-Placement Assessments) and foster care licensing activities.
- Match approved adoptive families with children in foster care based on each child's unique needs.
- Provide ongoing case management, support, education, and advocacy for foster and adoptive families.
- Complete home visits, post-placement supervision, and crisis intervention as needed.
- Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure compliance with agency, licensing, and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with county DSS offices, schools, healthcare providers, and community partners.
- Support adoption finalization and permanency planning efforts for children and families.
- Participate in recruitment, outreach, and family engagement activities.
