About The Position
Special FX makeup artist for Halloween actors. This role involves preparing makeup, setting up for application, cleaning the work area, and working with various individuals to apply makeup. The artist will also perform various other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Airbrush experience preferred
- May include cream, prosthetic applications
- Manage time wisely
- Basic FX makeup skills
- Must be 18 years or older
- Required to work in various weather conditions
- Available to work overtime
- Available to work flexible hours including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Attention to detail
- All job offers contingent on passing a criminal, drug, alcohol, and social security background check
- Must be able to walk or stand for up to eight hours a shift
- Requires occasional kneeling and bending
- Requires occasional reaching above shoulder, pushing and pulling
- Requires occasional lifts and carries up to 50 pounds
- Requires occasional carries up to 100 pounds with the assistance of a two-wheel hand truck
- Requires manual and bi-manual dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech
- Possess 20/20 corrected vision
- Possess normal or average corrected hearing
