About The Position

The Special Events Rep DOT will handle all special event activities including sales, delivery, rotation, line cleaning, setup and tear down of events. This role involves building healthy business relationships and establishing good communication with customers, maintaining and cleaning customers’ draught lines serving Ben E. Keith beers, and ensuring all delivery and line cleaning standards are met. The representative will also troubleshoot various draught issues, project a friendly and professional image, prioritize multiple competing priorities, and attend meetings as required. Additionally, the role requires operating all company equipment safely and in accordance with company policy, ensuring company equipment is in safe working condition and reporting any incidents or unsafe conditions immediately to a supervisor. The Special Events Rep DOT is responsible for maintaining and keeping their assigned company vehicle clean at all times and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Able to coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitments.
Good oral and written communication skills and participate well in a team environment.
Must be highly motivated and results oriented, with a strong attention to detail.
Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Must be able to read and write English.
Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear.
Must be 21 yrs. or older to apply.
Ability to operate/drive single axle truck with 27 ft. trailer.
Position requires a Texas Class A CDL driver’s license with a clean MVR.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
High school graduate or GED required.
All applicants hired by Ben E. Keith Beverages are required by the State of Texas to obtain two TABC licenses.

Nice To Haves

Draught experience preferred.
Basic computer skills preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) preferred.
