This role is responsible for managing the Spooktacular cast and crew for all event dates, which include Saturdays and Sundays from September 5th to November 1st, and Monday, September 7th, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The Stage Manager will oversee the daily operations of Spooktacular talent and other Consumer Event Festivals talent, including scheduling and task assignments. Responsibilities include assisting with rehearsals and training, mentoring staff to foster a successful team-oriented production, and providing logistical support for the cast and crew. The role involves developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), tracking attendance and performance, managing supply requests, and ensuring the safety of all team members through training and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage. The Stage Manager will supervise various areas such as events cast, technicians, costume/dresser staff, daily hours reporting, ambassador coaching, overtime requests, deviation/sign-in sheets, theatrical and technical systems, theater safety, facility maintenance and cleanliness, monitoring show quality, scheduling and running rehearsals, conducting daily meetings, disseminating information, developing team members, maintaining team member records, and managing inventory and procurement of equipment, materials, and supplies. Additionally, the role requires developing and maintaining quality standards, ensuring the artistic and technical integrity of the show/event, understanding all positions necessary for show operation, acting as a front-line management representative, and serving as a liaison with Production, Entertainment Technical, and Operational Entertainment Management Staff. The Stage Manager will also coordinate and implement special events and shows in other venues as needed, assist with entertainment activities and special events outside the park, submit daily reports to managers, and cover for other supervisors or departments as needed. The position requires working in a team environment, interacting professionally with guests and other ambassadors, and performing other duties as assigned.
