This position is for a Special Educator working 0.8 FTE for the 26/27 school year. The role involves teaching students specific skills and strategies to access the curriculum, conducting IEP meetings, monitoring student progress, co-teaching in regular education content areas or teaching substantially separate subjects, and preparing students for post-high school transitions. The educator will also communicate with school personnel, parents, and other stakeholders, and attend departmental and school-wide meetings.
