About The Position
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with a Washington school district to recruit a dedicated educator for a full-time, school-based position for the 2026–2027 school year. In this role, you’ll provide specially designed instruction tailored to individual learning profiles and IEP goals. You’ll adapt curriculum and classroom materials, monitor student performance, and use data to guide instructional decisions. Collaboration will be an important part of the position as you work with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to promote consistent support across settings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field.
- Valid Washington State teaching certificate with the appropriate Special Education endorsement, or meet eligibility requirements for certification.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong organization skills.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Strong instructional planning skills.
- Strong teamwork skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in resource, inclusion, or self-contained settings is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Adapt curriculum, assignments, and assessments to address learning needs.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches accordingly.
- Support positive behavior and inclusive classroom practices.
- Participate in multidisciplinary planning and student support meetings.
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP objectives.
