About The Position
A part-time Special Education Assistant position is available in the Tri-Valley Local School District. The position is 5.5 hours per day. Applicants must hold a valid Paraprofessional license issued by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW) and have an ESEA endorsement. To meet ESEA requirements, applicants must document one of the following: passing a paraprofessional assessment; earning an associate degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher education; or completing at least two years of study at an accredited institution of higher education, equivalent to 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours.
Requirements
- Valid Paraprofessional license issued by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW).
- ESEA endorsement, supported by documentation of one of the following: passing a paraprofessional assessment; an associate degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher education; or at least two years of study at an accredited institution of higher education, equivalent to 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours.
