About The Position

Ready to help students thrive throughout the 2026–2027 school year? Cross Country Education is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to support diverse learners across Pre-K–12 settings in Lancaster, SC. Provide specialized instruction to K–12 students with disabilities across resource, co-taught, self-contained, and specialized classroom settings. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including instructional goals, accommodations, progress monitoring, and required documentation. Adapt curriculum, instructional strategies, and behavioral supports to meet students’ diverse academic, functional, and developmental needs while supervising classroom assistants as needed. Collaborate with educators, families, classroom assistants, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and promote inclusive learning environments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field
Valid South Carolina Special Education Certification, including Multi-Categorical or related certifications (ED, MD, EMD, or TMD/Severe)
