About The Position
Detroit Enterprise Academy, located in Detroit, MI, opened in 2005 and serves over 750 K-8 students annually. This role offers the opportunity to connect purpose with passion. National Heritage Academies (NHA) provides students with specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from their disability, which may include resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services. The position also involves participating in professional development specific to special education curriculum and data tracking tools.
Requirements
- Hold a valid teacher license or meet alternative requirements. NHA will support you through your alternative certification journey.
Responsibilities
- Provide specially designed instruction developed to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from his/her disability such as: a resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services.
- Participate in professional development that is specific to special education curriculum, along with data tracking tools.
