About The Position

Boothby Therapy Services is actively recruiting Special Education Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year across Massachusetts. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education (minimum)
  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education teaching license (or eligibility)
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in school-based settings preferred (preschool through high school)

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
  • Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver specialized instruction aligned with student goals
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
  • Monitor and document student progress using data-driven practices
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
