About The Position
Boothby Therapy Services is actively hiring a Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Franklin, MA. This is a full-time role (5 days per week) serving grade 4 students in an inclusion setting. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education (minimum)
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education teaching license (or eligibility)
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in school-based settings preferred (preschool through high school)
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
- Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver specialized instruction aligned with student goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Monitor and document student progress using data-driven practices
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
