About The Position
Cross Country Education is seeking passionate Special Education Teachers to support K–12 learners in Frisco, TX for the 2026–2027 school year. This role involves providing specialized instruction and inclusion support for students in grades 6–12 with diverse learning needs. The teacher will develop and implement individualized instructional strategies to promote academic and behavioral growth, collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to ensure student accommodations and success, and maintain documentation and support IEP processes to foster an inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Texas Teaching Certification with Special Education endorsement
- Valid Texas ESL Supplemental Certification
- Valid Texas Fingerprint Clearance Card (FAST)
- Handle with Care, CPI, or similar crisis prevention/de-escalation training (or willingness to complete training)
Responsibilities
