SY26/27 Special Education Teacher (Taylor)
About The Position
This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) Special Education Teacher position located at Taylor Elementary School. The role involves implementing instructional programs tailored to student needs, maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment, and fostering communication with parents/guardians. The teacher will also be responsible for maintaining accurate student records, collaborating with school administrators, other teachers, instructional assistants, parents, and community members. Continuous monitoring and assessment of student achievement are key, as is participation in ongoing professional learning and meetings.
Requirements
- Teaching experience in the above mentioned area
- Knowledge of best instructional practices
- Ability to integrate technology
- Experience in educational and instructional leadership
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure in Special Education
