About The Position
Our Organization is excited to partner with an Illinois school district seeking dedicated and student-focused Special Education Teachers for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. These full-time opportunities offer the chance to work in supportive educational settings where collaboration, creativity, and student growth are highly valued. In these positions, educators will provide specialized academic support to students with diverse learning needs while promoting confidence, independence, and classroom success. Teachers will utilize individualized strategies and adaptive instruction to help students meet both academic and behavioral goals within structured, student-centered environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Special Education endorsement, or be eligible to obtain licensure
- Strong classroom management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting is preferred
Responsibilities
- Implementing individualized educational plans
- Providing differentiated instruction that supports student success across academic and behavioral areas
- Adapting curriculum materials
