About The Position
Capstone Academy, located in Commerce City, Colorado, is part of the National Heritage Academies (NHA) network. NHA focuses on a character-based approach to education, inspiring students to excel academically and think creatively. The school aims to prepare students for 21st-century challenges by helping them apply critical-thinking skills to solve real-world problems. This role is eligible for a bonus up to $5,000. NHA provides specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of each child with a disability, which may include resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services.
Requirements
- Hold a valid teacher license or meet alternative requirements.
- NHA will support you through your alternative certification journey.
Responsibilities
- Provide specially designed instruction developed to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from his/her disability such as: a resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services.
- Participate in professional development that is specific to special education curriculum, along with data tracking tools.
