About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year in the Glendale, AZ area. We’re seeking passionate and collaborative professionals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting. This role involves creating an inclusive classroom setting for all learners, developing and implementing IEP goals and therapy plans, participating in IEP meetings, and collaborating with school teams. You will also partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills and maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records. Monitoring student progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed is also a key part of the role.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or Related Field
• Active Arizona Special Education Teacher license
• Active Fingerprint Clearance Card

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred
