About The Position
This is a summer position for the Extended School Year (ESY) program, which serves students with disabilities. The program aims to minimize regression and reduce recoupment time for students requiring year-round support. The ESY program will run from July 6, 2026, to August 7, 2026, with programming on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Days and times are contingent on program needs. The role involves providing direct instruction to students and reporting on their progress.
Requirements
- Certified as required for individual positions.
- Qualified applicants with previous experience working with students with disabilities.
Nice To Haves
- CPI or Safety Care trained a plus.
- A five-week commitment is preferred to ensure the fidelity of services.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct instruction to students enrolled in the district’s ESY summer program.
- Report on student progress.
