HealthPRO Pediatrics is looking for a Special Education Teacher to join our team in August, GA! Join our collaborative therapy team supporting students’ academic and functional success! This is a Full-Time, W-2 position offering $41-$44/hour with a school schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and summers off. Requirements

Active Georgia Special Education teaching certification (GaPSC License)
Paraprofessional certification not accepted; must be a Teacher with Special Education endorcement
Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field
Strong communication and collaboration skills
A passion for helping students reach their full potential

Nice To Haves

Experience working with students with special needs preferred

Responsibilities

Consult and collaborate with School staff and families in regards to students’ educational deficits
Conduct initial screenings as well as comprehensive evaluations
Participate in the IEP process in developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for Special Education services
Provide Special Education sessions through the use of current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP
Maintain all documentation required by the district including, but not limited to, notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEP’s
