The Chimes School is a nonpublic, MSDE-approved special education program serving students ages 5–21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or a closely related field
- Maryland Special Education License
- A collaborative, student-centered approach
- Passion for working with students with disabilities
Responsibilities
- Teach and support students using IEP-driven instruction
- Help students build functional life skills and independence
- Use positive behavior strategies within a highly supportive team
- Collaborate with assistants, clinicians, therapists & families
- Maintain MSDE certification and contribute to student growth daily
