About The Position
Framework is partnering with Fauquier County Public Schools to hire Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with students in a small, supportive classroom environment with eight students and three teachers. In this role, you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact each day—helping students build communication, social, and academic skills in a structured and nurturing setting. Openings are available for Preschool, Elementary (standard curriculum with resource and inclusion support, and standard curriculum Autism classroom with high-functioning students), Middle School (standard curriculum), and Secondary Special Education Teachers (standard curriculum).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
- Valid Virginia Special Education license or eligibility for licensure
- Experience working with students with Autism or developmental disabilities
- Strong communication, collaboration, and behavior management skills
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Providing individualized instruction and behavioral support for students with Autism
- Implementing and tracking IEP goals
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and service providers
- Using evidence-based strategies to promote communication, social skills, and independence
- Creating a positive, structured classroom environment that encourages student growth
