About The Position

The LifeWorks School in Doylestown, PA is actively hiring for certified Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 Academic School Year. Requirements

Certified Special Education Teacher
Bachelor’s level degree in Special Education required.
PA certification in Special Education is required.

Nice To Haves

Content area certifications preferred.
Prior experience working with students with behavioral health challenges within a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides academic and functional instruction to students diagnosed with Autism or Pervasive Developmental Disorder in a school setting.
Monitors student academic and functional achievement through data collection, observation, and other quantitative methods.
Observes and records student progress daily.
Develops and monitors student’s IEP, reports, goals, objectives, attend IEP meetings, establish, maintain, and work toward student goals as outlined in the IEP.
Manages student behavior through individualized motivational systems, S.M.A.R.T. Program and positive behavior support plans.
