This role involves delivering primary instruction to students, preparing lesson plans aligned with New York State Standards, and evaluating instructional materials. The teacher will assess and record student academic progress, maintain Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs), and create a safe learning environment. Responsibilities also include assessing program outcomes, managing a teacher aide, participating in school meetings (including Committee on Special Education), and maintaining classroom resources.
