About The Position
This full-time assignment focuses on delivering engaging, standards-aligned instruction in an inclusive elementary school environment. Responsibilities include maintaining IEP compliance, assessing student performance, documenting progress, participating in multidisciplinary meetings, and contributing to a collaborative educational team committed to student achievement and continuous growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a closely related field
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) endorsement
- Strong instructional planning skills
- Strong classroom management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting
