Requirements

Valid Special Education Teaching Credential in CA
Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
Experience working with grade Level is K - 8th, literacy and math.
Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.
Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Flexible and Adaptable

5+ years of experience teaching preferred.

Responsibilities

Utilize Catapult Learning models to teach knowledge, build confidence, and address student needs.
Provide academic, social, and emotional support for students requiring extra assistance.
Conduct assessments, develop data-driven plans, and collaborate with school staff and families to enhance student outcomes.
Implement behavior support and crisis intervention strategies to ensure a safe learning environment.
Maintain instructional materials, computer lab components, and a positive classroom atmosphere.
Identify eligible students through testing and enroll them per Catapult Learning guidelines.
Develop individualized lesson plans, behavioral assessments, and support plans.
Supervise students, ensuring safe transitions to and from classrooms.
Attend training, pass assessments, and deliver targeted instruction to eligible students.
