About The Position

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is recruiting a dedicated Special Education Teacher for an Illinois school district seeking resource-room support for students in grades 3–5. This full-time opportunity spans the school year and is ideal for an educator who enjoys delivering targeted instruction, adapting learning strategies, and helping students build the skills they need to progress academically. You’ll provide specialized educational support tailored to students’ individual learning profiles and IEP objectives. Through one-on-one instruction and small-group lessons, you’ll reinforce classroom learning, adjust materials to improve accessibility, and use student performance to guide instructional decisions. Success in this role also depends on strong teamwork. You’ll coordinate with general education teachers, special education colleagues, related service providers, and families to maintain consistent support. Additional responsibilities include tracking student growth, keeping educational records current, contributing to IEP meetings, and communicating progress with the school team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with the appropriate special education endorsement, including LBS1 credentials relevant to the students served.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior school-based special education experience preferred.
  • Educators holding an out-of-state special education license may be considered if they meet applicable Illinois licensure requirements.
