Special Education Teacher
About The Position
Provide resource support services to students with diverse learning needs, helping them achieve academic success during the 2026–2027 school year in Surprise, AZ. Provide specialized instruction and academic support to students with disabilities in a resource setting while aligning services with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Develop and monitor individualized goals, accommodations, and instructional strategies to promote student growth and achievement. Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success. Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with special education requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid Arizona Special Education Certification
- Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Ability to obtain and maintain required crisis intervention training and certifications
