Are you passionate about teaching others and making a positive difference in the lives of young people? The Contoocook School, located in Contoocook, NH, is seeking a dynamic Special Education Teacher to join our team and provide focused, real-time instruction to adolescents in grades 6-12 requiring integrated social thinking and executive functioning support.

The Special Education Teacher is responsible for providing high-quality classroom instruction within a therapeutic environment. The ideal candidate should be detail oriented, work well with outside resources and must be able to incorporate individual needs of students within the group learning process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Education or related subject
• A NH teaching license or statement of eligibility (SOE) in General Special Education (1900)
• Experience working with youth with various mental health and special education needs

Nice To Haves

• For individuals with an SOE, we will work with you on your site-based learning plan towards full licensure as a General Special Education teacher.
