The role involves developing instructional plans aligned with Oklahoma Academic Standards and district objectives, addressing diverse learning needs through flexible groupings and differentiated instruction, including accommodations and modifications for special populations. The teacher will prepare materials, collaborate with team members, and maintain substitute plans. Instructional delivery includes using ongoing assessments to evaluate learning, providing timely feedback, integrating technology, employing higher-level questioning, and adjusting lessons based on student progress. Classroom management involves establishing a positive climate, monitoring student behavior, and interacting professionally with students, colleagues, and families. The role also requires participation in professional learning, compliance with district and state policies, and maintaining IEP records.
