  • Schedule and lead annual IEP meetings, re-evaluations, and amendment meetings with parents, administrators, and specialists.
  • Modify and adapt general education curricula in core subjects (Reading, Writing, Math) to meet the unique learning needs of students.
  • Deliver targeted interventions through various models, including push-in (co-teaching in general education classrooms) and pull-out (small-group resource room instruction).
  • Ensure all testing and daily classroom accommodations (e.g., extended time, audio text, reduced answer choices) are consistently provided.
  • Partner closely with general education teachers to co-plan and co-deliver inclusive lessons.
  • Provide general education staff with strategies, tools, and insights to effectively support special education students in their classrooms.
  • Maintain regular, transparent communication with parents and guardians regarding student triumphs, challenges, and growth.
